Rachel Pollack, a prolific author and expert on divinatory Tarot, brings a wealth of knowledge from many spiritual traditions to her practice of oracle reading, for the growth and guidance of the soul. On this call, she will address:

How spiritual myth and wisdom can frame our lives

About Rachel: Rachel Pollack is the author of thirty-one books of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. She is a poet, an award-winning novelist, an authority on the modern interpretation of Tarot cards, and a Tarot card artist. She has published fifteen books on Tarot and divination, including 78 Degrees of Wisdom, considered a modern classic and “the Bible of Tarot reading.” She also has written on other non-fiction subjects, including The Body of the Goddess, which traces the origin and development of religion in the human body and nature. Comparative mythologist, initiated diviner, and scholar Stephen Karcher draws on an extensive grounding in many fields of study to construct his approach to the divinatory experience. His specialty – the I Ching or “Yijing” – is one of the oldest Chinese texts and a preeminent oracle throughout human history.

In his call, Stephen will offer what he has learned about the tradition of the I Ching and how we can apply it to finding our way in life, including:

How the tradition works, where it came from, how it is evolving and what its deep goals are
How we can read, understand and interact with its symbols
How we can use it, what it offers us and what it needs from us to come alive

About Stephen: Stephen Karcher, Ph.D., is one of today's most creative and controversial writers and practitioners in the field of Yijing studies, divination and myth. He is an internationally recognized scholar, translator and initiated diviner, teaching and lecturing on the Yijing and other divination systems in the US, Great Britain, France, Spain, Switzerland and South Africa. As Research Director of the Eranos Foundation in Ascona, Switzerland (1988-1996), he pioneered a depth psychological approach to divination. A prolific author, he has published many books and articles in the field of comparative mythology, divination, depth psychology and religious experience. As Grand Archdruid of the esteemed Ancient Order of Druids in America, John Michael Greer represents a true paragon of the archaic world, with all its arcane wisdom, coexisting in modern times. His diverse areas of knowledge – from Qabbalah and esoteric history to geomancy and UFO phenomenology – provide a unique and vibrant perspective on the divinatory arts.

In our final call, John will explore:

How traditional oracles and esoteric practices provide a "reality check" on contemporary thinking
How the sixteen geomantic figures track the dynamics of the four elements in everyday life.

About John: John Michael Greer (b. 1962) is an author, historian of ideas, Hermeticist and Druid who resides in Ashland, Oregon. He currently serves as the Grand Archdruid of the Ancient Order of Druids in America, a position he has held since 2002. His first book, Paths of Wisdom, a study of the Golden Dawn system of Qabalah, was published in 1996, and has been followed by many other books on magical and esoteric traditions and their histories, including an encyclopedic work on secret societies, The Element Encyclopedia of Secret Societies and Hidden History. Forthcoming titles will cover an exploration of UFO phenomenologies and histories, and esoteric Western Physical Culture. He has practiced gardening, Tai Chi Chuan and related internal arts "nei gung" for decades. Greer has shown an interest in oil and other resource depletion, which he believes will bring about fundamental, global changes in societies for centuries to come.
